Licence an extension to specified companies on tenant.

If a customer has hundreds of companies in their Business Central tenant and they want an extension written that is only relevant to a small number of them, and therefore should only be licensed to that small number of companies. How would one achieve this?

Hi, Stefano is right, this is the part that Microsoft leaves to partners.
The easiest way to do this is for you to add a setting such as whether or not to enable the feature. To enable it you need to enter a password.

If you mean licensing for an Appsource app, you need to create your own custom licensing module/logic to achieve that.

Hi,

I would say you should have more than one production environment and you could mix Business Central Essential and Premium licenses on the same tenant, installing whatever extensions you want in each environment.
