Hi I have a sale rack of assorted items and would like to apply a set discount for these when using the wizard it wants to apply this discount on all my database items.

Try using the right click Formula method.
Select the price you wish to change.
After adding all of your items to the list, right click on the first line item's price you wish to change. A Formula option will appear.
Change your price based on the criteria you wish and OK it.
If the correct price appears, do it again, this time selecting all rows on the bottom of the page and OK it.

I am a bit new to RMS, and I was looking to use the Wizard in the same way. Do you have any idea why when after I select "add items manually" it greys out my options for how to change the prices of the items?
I want to create a 20% off Sale for various items.

One of the options in the wizard is to "add items manually". That sounds like the option you want.
