Management Reporter 2012 - How to calculate Return on Asset (using 12 period)

Hello Everyone,

I'm trying to automate the calculation of Return of Asset (RoA) in Management Reporter 2012. The formula to Calculate RoA is

(Year-To-Date Profit before Tax) / n * 12 month

--------------------------------------------------------------

Average of Total Asset in t-12

For Example, if I want to calculate RoA in November 2022, i will calculate by:

YTD November / 11 * 12

---------------------------------

Average of Total Asset in December 2021 until November 2022

How can i build the block in row Definition by using this formula? I don't know how to annualize in the row Definition or calculate average of Total Asset.

    I don't know if there is a good way to do this.  MR doesn't do averages, so you'd need to manually figure that out and or have an account with the average.  In the row, you can can get the YTD amount for the account by using the Row Modifier of /Y.

    You could than do a CAL with the formula and reference that row.
