DB sync nothing happen?

Hi, Experts:

I'm using AX 2012 CU12 demo VM with demo data.

Today when I want to do the full sync DB, no matter where I did it,

in AOT or system administration menu. The sync process just didn't start on.

Nothing happen on screen when I did the sync action...

I have tried full compile & CIL, reboot the server, check the event log.

but still didn't find any clue how this happen and how to solve this problem.

Could anyone give me some suggestions how to deal with it?

Did you try from below shown screen shot - >

And also check the event viewer once you run.

Thank you for the reply.

I did try the menu in the screen

It shows a dialog to ask me to make sure if I want to sync the DB. after selecting YES, the dialog disapper and nothing happen after that..

Do everything with the Ax Admin user, and run the client as administrator too..

Did you do that?

Actually I just make sure I did that just now . the AX role is system administrator, and I run client as administrator.. still the same result.. :(

You can't run DB sync if you are not Sys Admin so we can roll that role thing out.

Do you have another VM? If yes, you can try running that instance from that VM and run DB sync from there.

The full compile was through client, or through threads? Try to do a full compile through client..

And after that, go to Ax client config and do a "refresh configuration" too..

thanks again for the reply.

My account do has system administrator role in AX,

and I think I have used this account to did the DB sync successfully before..

Since we have already created some data here. so I prefer to solve the problem here first.

I am not saying to run Sync on other instance or environment , take the axc (client configuration) of your current instance/ environment and run from some other VM and run DB sync there.

I have a client-only PC. it still has the same issue as I did it on server. I'm doing client

full compile instead of thread to see if it helps. Also I notice the online user status are all ending bloacked like this : community.dynamics.com/.../32022
