Filter PowerBi-Dashboard based on currently logged in user

Posted on by 2

Hi Dynamics-Community,

is there a way to filter a PowerBi-Dashboard based on the currently logged in Dynamics-User?

We created a PowerBI-Dashboard with different data from different tables an we want to filter these contents by the current logged in user.

E.g.: the Dashboard contains all activities from the system and has also the owner of the activities in place. So Owner = currently logged in user.

Is that possible?

    Hi Leah,

thank you for your post. This I also found. So that means, that a filtering of an embedded PowerBi-Dashboard in Dynamcis on the currently logged in user must be done in the PowerBi-Dashboard itself and cannot be handled from Dynamics?
