Hi,
I have a workflow process set up that sends an email under certain conditions. I have a backlog of 10s of processes that ran but got stuck in "waiting" due to an error that I am fixing. I deactivated the process in question, modified it, saved it, activated it, and resumed the waiting old instances of the process, however, they still produce an error. When I examine an individual waiting process, the "process progress" section still shows the old, unmodified workflow steps.
I'm not sure what to make of this. Does this mean that the waiting processes won't ever get updated with the new fixes and I would have to cancel them and lose progress in the system that they captured? Does the "process progress" section show the "at-the-time" version of the workflow steps but is actually trying to execute the new and improved steps from the newest iteration of the process? Can I, and if yes then how, make the new changes affect the waiting processes that got stuck due to an error that I hopefully fixed?
Thanks in advance for your responses.
