Microsoft AX 2012 Reversing a Year End Close

Hello,

When I did the 2023 Year End Close for the GL, it posted twice. I want to reverse one of them. However, when I try a /Reverse Transaction, I get the following error:

Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

You can try to choose a transaction type and check if the process goes smoothly. After all, following the error message can solve most problems.

Hi Kevin,

Thank you for responding. That link you sent is for a newer version I believe. We are on Microsoft AX 2012, and unfortunately I'm not that familiar with it. You mentioned Transaction Type. Here is a snip of the 2 Year-End Close entries. They don't have a Transaction Type. Please let me know if I can provide you with any other info. Thanks!

Can you provide more information (system settings, etc.) to help us better solve the problem? At this time, the information you have provided is not sufficient to support us in proposing a solution. So have you set up the transaction type?
