Hi all,
First I just want to say sorry for all of you who think "Wow what a noob!" i'm sure I've already covered this aspect, but cannot find it anywhere.
So how can i get rid of the "Are you sure you want to exit Dynamics GP?" ?
I've found many Dex.ini blogs and downloaded an interesting word doc from Lesley Vail, but haven't found the command to iliminate that message. it probably has nothing to do with the dex.ini file and it's probably something really stupid like User preferences or some dumb thing like that...
Thanks to whoever reads and possibly answers to my call!
Jason

Hey would you look at that now!
I've got a full pannel of MVPs on my thread! Almost alarming! ;) I would then simply add that I had worked with Rockton's Omni tools for a previous employer and had appreciated my experience with the product. Eventually i purchased the GP toolbox for the company i currently work for because of the excessive use of lincences within the company.
We would constantly have users contacting the IT team to free a licence because once a user would get a GP connection, he'd let his PC open for the week and wouldn't close out GP for fear of not being able to connect later on!
So we had to choose between purchasing additionnal licences or get the Rockton toolbox (40 licences at 200$ each). We ended up purchasing the toolbox and instantly saved at least 10 licences, which in it self gives the payback of the purchase!
So... any tips and tricks on how to become an MVP? or should I start a new thread! LOL
(I got both signature laminated and sold them on ebay for 1 000$ a pop!).. just kidding, they're like the moment you meet with your daughter's first emmo boyfriend.. priceless! mouhouhahahaha!
I agree! The GP Toolbox is very cool. The $200 is per registered user. So, if you have 30 users it would be $6,000.
Still, it's incredible.
No worries -- as long as you don't feel like Dante descending through the inferno I am all good, lol! On another note, did you already frame that autograph? lol.
At about $200, the Rockton Toolbox is an awesome set of features for a drop in a bucket.
I must be dreaming!
The legendary Blogster Mariano Gomez to my rescue? I feel like Lois Lane when rescued by Superman for the first time, or Sam from Lord of the Rings when Arwen appears on a white horse to save Frodo, or ... nah you get the picture!
It is exactly the software you mentionned. I remember now having disabled this feature on our production server and couldn't figure out why I was having that message on my dev server.
Thanks for your help Mariano
(By the way, I was one of the geeks who got a signature from you and David at Convergence 2010 at the end of Tools for administering GP like the pros)
If my mind serves me correctly, this feature is a part of Rockton Software's Dynamics GP Toolbox's System Settings. Now, I don't know what version of GP you are on, but if you are on an older version, you may know this product as the Omni Tools. To find more information go to http://www.rocktonsoftware.com/products.aspx?p=12 and download the product manual.
I would like to know how to GET that message. You don't know how many times i thought i was closing out a window and ended up closing all of it.
