Hello everyone,

I already setup an environment on LCS for dynamics 365 for operations, and need to use Common Data Service to integrate financial and sales, my question is how to setup on cloud dynamics 365 for sales , is it same procedure as dynamics 365 for operations?

Thank you,

    Hi,

LCS deployment right now is only available or Operations. AX was not intended for cloud deployments initially hence in this release they have given options of LCS.

Dynamics from scratch was readily available for cloud deployments. To get sales you need to subscribe for sales module or you can also go for Dynamics 365 Enterprise edition.

Navigate to docs.microsoft.com/.../dynamics-365-integration for more information about integrating crm and operations.

else you can use Azure LogicApps also to transfer data between AX[operations] and CRM.

    Regards,

    Pranav

    Hi,

You need to setup the D365 instance for sales first - once you setup the instance then it will appear in app.

Please go to admin center section and then on left side you need to select Dynamics. There you will get option to set up the instance (based on your license)

    Thanks,

New licencing model allows to pick and choose apps as per your need. In your case you already have Dynamics 365 for Operations, now you need to get licence for Dynamics 365 for Sales or you can register for free 30 days trial.

    Hope this helps.
