Depreciation settlement rules - Over and under depreciation settlements Japan localization - D365FO
Hi, Over-depreciation: Under Japanese accounting standards, some fixed assets may be fully depreciated before the end of their useful life. This means that the actual service life exceeds the expected life. Under-depreciation: Contrary to excess depreciation, the actual service life is less than expected, so depreciation expenses need to be supplemented through under-depreciation settlement.
