I had setup a workflow for General Journal Line approval with condition where Journal Template = Intercompany (A template created for Intercompany GL Journal).
Created intercompany GL Journal lines. There isn't any option in Intercompany GL Journal to Request for Approval. When i try to POST the batch, it prompt error that there is a approval restriction on the GL Journal line.
I understand is because of the GL Journal Line approval that i had setup, as we need the Intercompany GL Journal to be approved prior to approval.
What can i do to enable the workflow approval for Intercompany GL Journal?
(a) Anything we can do via AL Customization? If yes, can provide some tips on how we can do that? Am aware that we have a field for Pending Approval in the GL Journal table. Can we make use of that to enable the Request for Approval?
(b) Can the Request for approval be created via Power Automate?
Appreciate all to advise what best method to resolve this requirement.
