Running the MRP only for the specific sales order

Is it possible to run the MRP for a specific sales order? If so, is there any filter or parameter that I can define to achieve this?

I am looking to get suggestions only for the finished goods (FG) and their BOM components that are included in that particular sales order. Could you please guide me on how to accomplish this?

I have the same question (0)

    Hello,

You can't run it for a single order , other way you can run for all orders and delete enteries which came up leaving the specific SO.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    TK

    Hi,

You cannot filter on a specific sales order. But you can filter on items that are part of that specific sales order.

As others have mentioned, you cannot filter by a specific Sales Order or Sales Line.

The two suggestions provided (run unfiltered and delete unrelated suggestions; or set Item No. filter to include all related Items) would be recommended options.

To give you a third option, you could filter by the Item Category Code of the FG and BOM components, assuming they are unique to those Items (the Codes can be different).

All options will get you to the end result, but each pose their own challenges.  Please keep in mind, unless you have the Items in an Order policy, they will also include factors outside of your Sales Order in their suggestion.

    Best Regards,
