We have created a new company & included the items list using integration manager. When opening the item look up from the item maintenance window, the items don't show automatically.
We need to click on the item number field or short description so that the items show properly.
In Fabricam it is working normal...
Any thoughts.

Did you import the Items into the Item Maintenance cards? Is the Item window a modified window? Did you set the default sort order using another tool, or have you set a 'default' view on the lookup window? If you use the standard GP lookup window, do the items show up? For some reason you need to cause the lookup script to run in order to populate the scrolling window. What's different about your live company from Fabrikam.

We have applied the check links on the whole inventory module but still the same result.

Try running checklinks against the item master.
