Fixed Header and Footer HTML table in CRM WebResource

Posted on by 390

Hi,

We are fetching data from external source and showing it as HTML table in Webresource. Can help me with any reference codes to have fixed header and footer html table in web resource. I tried in separate HTML page, but inside the Iframe it does not work. Please give some examples with fixed header and footer with scroll bars. If we have fixed header it is affecting the scrollbar because iFrame renders default scroll bars but for fixed header and footer we will have another scroll bars.

Thanks.

    HI Jaya,

Think there is no  direct way to acclompish this . You need to perform some unsupported customization(not recommneded by MicroSoft) to add CSS to Iframe, its header and footer. You can apply CSS via JAVAscript also.

Please refer to css classes in Activities pane(KB articles)  in case form for better idea. It is an iframe and many css are applied  to make the view as header and footer.

Please see if below links help for CSS

    Hi Raz,

Thanks for the response. I am using direct web resource only. By default web resource will be rendered in a I-frame.

I still haven't got  a very good solution for this.

    Hi Jayakumar

Did you try to put directly web resource on the form instead of Iframe?

    Best Wishes, Raz
