Hello everyone
I am trying to use report writer/vba to ensure that I can print the same sales invoice with two different headings so that the customer can retain one while we retain one in the office
i.e when we send the invoice to the printer, it prints two copies and:
Copy one has a label: Customer Copy
Copy two has a label; Office Copy
I would like to do this without clicking the reprint button.
It has become urgent as my deadline is fast approaching.

Got some updates on this.
I have been able to print two different duplicate copies - I did this by using a legend field on the report and initialized the value on the legend based on the number of times the document has been printed. I.e for the first print job , it displays customer copy , then I query the database to know if the document has been printed before and changed the value to Office copy for subsequent print outs.
The only problem is we have to hit the reprint button - and this makes me want to tear my hair out!!!
And off course all future reprints will be labled Office Copy.
I would really welcome more insights on how to avoid using the reprint button at this juncture..

I do not believe Report Writer will do this out of the box, many have wanted it to. If your looking at third party applications, be sure to also look at the following two:

What you need to do is get a copy of Accountable's Forms Printer and then use a SSRS or Crystal report that prints the invoice two times, one with Customer Copy on it and one with Office Copy on it. Other options include purchasing paper with two different color sheets (ie white, yellow, white, yellow, etc) and simply print two copies. The white one goes to the client and the yellow stays in the office. You need to get this from a print shop paper supplier like Xpedia as most office supply stores will not carry it.
