Is there a way to know which locations stock a particular item is a specific variant.

e.g. item SR2020 has 20 in size J but which of my 65 locations have this J?

From the Retail Item Card, you can view Related Information -> Item Availability By: -> By Location.

From here you can set the Variant Filter:

This should technically show only the Variant of the item you want at the locations listed below. Hope this helps.

Hi Edward

This has helped though the fields are not available on the version we have been given. I will be speaking to the developers to see why we don't have the fields and if they can add them for us.

Make me feel better that I hadn't missed something and that it just wasn't there. Also great to know we can do it and can go back to the developers.

Hi Kheywood,

You can check the Item variant availability by location from Phys. Inventory journals.

Departments -> Warehouse -> Inventory -> Phys. Inventory journals.

When you run the journal pls confirm that whether these journal running date update in the item card.

Unfortunately the Phys. Inventory Journal only shows movements and not the actual stock in the location

I have had a few customers with this requirement, I end up writing a simple report from the item ledger or warehouse entry. You can also see this from inventory overview and select the variant code.
