ReportReport
Posted on by

Hi, I build new ssrs report and deploy it into ax 2012 r3 . The sysadmin can see the data when he run the report and everything seems fine.after that I add new privilege and add the tmp table,DP method into this privilege and assigned it to regular user... The problem is when the regular user run the report he didn’t see the data?

    Qabajah,

Please check if your regular user has the permission to access the table which is used to build the temp table.

I have seen ocurrences when the table access in override permissions set on the privilege would't correctly apply to the user role.

If you have allready included the temp tables and it is't working try set it on the user role.

Yes the regular user has permission on the table.

I also create new regular user and the same thing happened

All other sysadmin see the data.

    Here is the steps :

1- build the report on test server.

2- export the project (tmp table, classes, menu, ssrs report)

3- import the project into ax live report server.

4- create new security permission form ax system administration.

5- add all table used in my report into this permission with read type.

6- give this permission to users .

    Table type: in memory.

Try compiling the user role after modification, then run incremental CIL then using AXutil run the command "refreshrolecache". Make sure the user restarts their client before testing.

If that doesn't work try granting access to the table directly on the user role instead of the privilege.
