Sales by Vendor by Date

Looking for a report for item sales by vendor - similar to item sales statistics, but looking to figure out which vendor/brand is responsible for the most sales.

Reports I have found have some good results but you can't narrow down the date.

Need the report to sync into Power BI

I have the same question (0)

Then the  best option is to create a query and then base your Power BI report on the dataset you return from your query.

Thanks Inge - would you recommend using a query already made and modifying it? I did try to make one based off Item Sales but was unable to link a posted date field to it.

I would definitely make a new one so you have full control of your dataset and your relations.

    Hi, just adding some info.

If you use Query, you can also display it directly on the page without Power BI.

    More details:

QueryCategory property – Smartlist? (Execute Queries from Pages)

    Hope this helps as well.

    Thanks.
