query on converting the trial version to paid sandbox version- business central

Hello Team,

One of our clients is evaluating Business Central has a trial version of business central and wants to convert the trial version to paid sandbox version with a couple of licenses.

We need help linking the tenant to our partner id and getting the business central licenses. Is this something we can do?

If not, can we ask Microsoft if we can convert the trial version to Sandbox once the customer buys the license? They want to keep working in the sandbox as well as build on to their POC and eventually go to production.

Please assist with that.

If you get the customer a license connected to the Azure AD tenant where the trail is running the trail will be converted to a paid BC environment. So this is something you should do as the customers CSP partner.

Hi, just adding some info.

There are two trial environments in Business Central, one is Premium Trial as mentioned by Inge, which can be directly converted in Partner Center -> Customer, and the other is Viral Trial, which needs to be associated with Tenant to purchase a license.
