Tools for maintaining Financial budgets with GP and MR

Hi,

We are evaluating tools for maintaining budgets with Dynamics GP and use budgets figures in financial reports using Management reporter. Is Microsoft still actively developing Forecaster? Are there any good alternatives for Forecaster (Microsoft or ISVs) for entering and managing budgets by departments.

Departments are basically cost centre segment in chart of accounts. The client is on GP 2013 and use general ledger chart of accounts without analytical Accounting or multi-dimensional analysis.
