Hi all,

Is there any Plugin class to retrieve all Rollup fields in an organization.?

My requirement is I want to update all rollup fields forcefully. Now I am able to update only one rollup field at a time. So I want to retrieve all rollup fields. Is it possible?

You can change the rollup field calculation Job's schedule to run it every hour. You will not have to write a code for this.

Hi Vikas,

Thank you so much for your quick response.

But my requirement is, I want to update rollup field values through programatically. I can set the time for 1 hr. But I don't want that. I want to see the result Immediately.

Is there any option for this using Plugin?

There is one way. I have not done something like this but it might work. You need to search the matadata of each required entity, for each entity search for rollup fields using field type and run rollup job for each field. This would take a lot of time and the plugin/workflow might go beyond 2 min limit in CRM online.

Yes, you are correct. This way, we can achieve. But its not good practice. So As of now I am running few rollup fields, which are required that moment.

If you are looking for updating all the roll-up fields of specific entity, I believe you can use the default functionality of Dynamic CRM.

If you want to update all the rollup field by yourself, why you are using roll up field altogether, instead go for normal field according to your requirements.

you can also save your formula in javascript webresource and retrieve the formula from there and update the value accordingly.
