Commerce SDK requires code signing certificate

Hi,

As we know that in RetailSDK we need a code signing certificate for package creation and MPOS installer.

Can anyone tell me that we need a code signing certifacte in CommerceSDK also, we need this for store commerce installer and csu package?

Also please if anyone face this in pipelines so kindly confirm, build pipeline still needs code signing certificate step for commerceSDK?

Commerce SDK requires code signing certificate

Hi Hassan,

You can sign your commerce installers using a cerificate for best practice purposes using the build pipeline. Signing basically proves the authenticity of the installer so that it can be trusted and verified by the partner or client. But this process is optional for the Commerce SDK.
