Hi,

I have two differt portals. One for our custumers and one for internal use.

My problem is that on the one for internal use I would like to be able to see Knowledgebase Articles that är markt for internal use. But what I understand its only possible to see articles that are published and not markt for internal use.

Any suggestions how to get around this.

Regards

Mikael

    Hi Larmikann,

"Knowledgebase Articles that är markt for internal use" you mentioned is 'mark internal' button.

If so, it can't be showed in the portal.

    Hi Leah,

That I know. I wonder if there is a way to get around this and still be able to use the Internal button, I want to see this articles on our portal for internal use.

Have you tried using Content Access Level and leave the "internal" KB as external KB?

I used a custom made field that I filtered on. Now both of the portals show different articles and it works great.

Did you use any scripts or only use views?

The reason I am asking if you only use views is if non internal user searches KBs using keywords, your "internal" KBs will appear, won't it?

Ouch! Did not think of that..

Then this is something else I have to look at.

    Any ideas?

I would use Content Access Level to separate them.

It will give you more work once, however, once it is setup, it would be much clean and better for you in the future.

What you need to do is to create a new Content Access Level and maybe called it 'Internal'. Apply that for your 'internal' KBs and to the "internal" contacts. Therefore your "internal" contacts can see both "internal" and external KBs.

    Hope this works for you.
