Issue with Email Notifications in Dynamics 365 Intelligent Order Management Orchestration Flow

I’m facing an issue while trying to automate the email notifications in Dynamics 365 Intelligent Order Management. I followed the steps in the documentation for setting up email templates and sending them via orchestration flows, but the emails are not being sent as expected. I get an error in the orchestration logs saying "Email delivery failed" with no clear indication of why it is failing. Here’s what I’ve done so far:

  1. I have configured the Dynamics 365 Communication provider and set the "from" email address correctly.
  2. I added the Order Confirmation template to my orchestration flow, selecting the correct event triggers (Validation of Order lines has Succeeded).
  3. I checked that the email templates are correctly set up with predefined tokens.

However, I’m still not able to send emails through the orchestration flow. I’ve double-checked everything, and the domain of the "from" email address is correctly set as d365iom.com.
Has anyone else faced this issue? Any suggestions for debugging or ensuring the email delivery works as expected? For reference, here is the documentation (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/intelligent-order-management/email-capabilities).

Would appreciate any tips or troubleshooting advice!

The "Email delivery failed" issue in Dynamics 365 Intelligent Order Management orchestration flows can be tricky, but here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve it:
    Troubleshooting Steps:
    1. Verify Communication Provider Configuration:
      • Double-check that the Dynamics 365 Communication provider is correctly configured, including the "from" email address and domain (d365iom.com in your case).
      • Ensure that the email address is verified and authorized to send emails.
    2. Check Orchestration Logs:
      • Review the orchestration logs in detail. Look for any additional error messages or codes that might provide more context about the failure.
    3. Test Email Template:
      • Test the email template independently to ensure it works as expected. Sometimes, issues with tokens or placeholders in the template can cause failures.
    4. Validate Event Triggers:
      • Confirm that the event triggers (e.g., "Validation of Order Lines has Succeeded") are firing correctly and that the orchestration flow is being executed as expected.
    5. Inspect Email Quotas and Limits:
      • Check if your environment has reached any email sending limits or quotas. This can sometimes cause email delivery failures.
    6. Enable Enhanced Logging:
      • Turn on enhanced logging for the orchestration flow to capture more detailed information about the error.

    Hope this helps!
