In the Jobs module, we want the planning lines currency amount to not be allowed to be exceeded by the actual costs. My client only books costs off purchase orders. They want to password protect the ability to exceed budget and the user needs to key that in before they could place the PO or maybe capture the Purchase Invoice.
Looking at standard BC for version W1 22.5 (Platform 22.0.60117.0 + Application 22.5.59966.60134), I cannot see where that is standard functionality. I'm thinking that we need to dev this - is that correct? My client is moving from Dynamics Great Plains where the password protection functionality is standard and it would be a pity if BC does not make that part of the standard product.
Any insight would be apprecaited please.
