How to access SharePoint Online documents by JavaScript in Dynamics CRM Form

This a Dynamics 365 and SharePoint Online integration environment. CRM and SPO is under the same tenant.

Case documents are stored in SPO. It is required to read SPO documents from one CRM Form by JavaScript.

    I don't get this part of the sample within the article:

       "client_id=" + params.clientId

    what is params.clientId?

    As far as I understand, it should be id of an App that is registered in Azure. CRM as such doesn't have this id and it is not App in that sense.

    Does this mean, some dummy app registration is needed?
