Trigger custom action - CRM 2015

What i want to achieve is, to call a custom action which calls a plugin, which in turn executes custom code.

Using this code:

The custom action:

The plugin:

Actually i only want to pass parameters to the custom action, which should in turn call the plugin and supply the parameters.

Nothing else more.

Hans Peter >>not only crm is crap

I believe it is a crap for majority of developers who doesn't know the stuff ;) and it hugely rocks for the rest.

Hi Hans - This is how you can do it.

    1. Create an Action. Set the input parameters in it which you want to consume in your plugin.

    2. Create the plugin and register it on the message which is your action's name.

    3. You need to create a SOAP request for your Action. RequestName will be your action's name and set your input parameters. Call this request in your JavaScript.

    4. In your plugin, read the Input Parameters in context. The name of the params will be the one you specified in your action.

Please let me know if you need more help on this. I have done quite a few times.

How are you going to call the action, from javascript?

haha, not only crm is crap, the community forum software too...if you upload pictures with the same name, they get overriden on the server, instead of having 4 different pictures now, i have 4 equal pictures... oooooh my Microsoft....
