Within data management we need file extentions to be upper case

Hi,

Within data management integration we are exporting a file.  Within the 'Source Data Format' we have the Default ext set to 'DIF' in uppercase.  This is what we require, however when the file is created it put the 'dif' extension in lower case.  How do we get the system to create the file name in uppercase?  Any ideas?

Thank you in advance

It ends up that it was nothing to do with d365 .  After investigating we found that it was a power automate issue which had the lower-case filename within its script.

Thank you for all the help

Hi Liam, I tried replicating your issue in 10.0.29 and 10.0.32 but couldn't replicate it. I tried creating new extension TEST and the file extension is in upper case only.

I could create txt format as there are related projects and batch jobs so system will not allow to edit or delete txt extension.

Can you try creating TEST extension and export a data project.

    Hi,

We are using d365 Finance and Operations version 10.0.30, Installed platform version Update 54.  We go to Modules, System administration, Data management, Integrations then select the project that we have created.  This is a project that fetches informtions from our stock management and exports a simple txt file which must have an up case file extension.  I hope that this make sense!

    Thank you

    Hi,

Could you tell me what app you are using in D365?
