Through econnect I am inserting a transaction (SOPTYPE=4). While processing the request I am getting the follwoing error.

Error Number = 787 Stored Procedure= taSopHdrIvcInsert Error Description = Payment amount can not be greater then the document amount on a Return
Node Identifier Parameters: taSopHdrIvcInsert

How to resolve this error in econnect

Can any one help me out.

    The error message is explicit enough, you are passing a payment amount which is greater than the document amount. This result with a negative "on account" amount.

    Error Message: Sql procedure error codes returned:

    Error Number = 787  Stored Procedure= taSopHdrIvcInsert  Error Description = Payment amount can not be greater then the document amount on a Return

    SOPNUMBE = RTN001

    SOPTYPE = 4

    Related Error Code Parameters for Node : taSopHdrIvcInsert

    PYMTRCVD = 57994.17

    DOCAMNT = Note: This parameter was not passed in, no value for the parameter will be returned.

    SOPTYPE = 4

    this is the actual error

    The Document amount would be based on the item prices.

    here in the exception DOCAMNT value is empty
