found that an error existed in quite a few BOMs.  When reversing and fixing the BOMs, I created an issues where the payroll for the production order had been approved, when fixing the BOM this was changed.  Now when trying to approve the payroll for certain days, there is an issue with the jobs.  I am unable to approve the timesheet - I get the error message

Worker XXX job identification J-xxxx illegal reference.  I can't get past this error.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Partner,

Could you tell me which app you are using in D365?

    thank you Lea,

I know I said it was me that created the error, but was actually person who works in Master Planning, production control.  I am in ERP help support and was trying to find a solution to his issue. When no posted forum was found I created my own question for him.

In this case I do not believe he was using an APP.  I know there is a D365 Warehouse APP used for receiving but in this case his help ticket and after discussion with him regarding the issue. It was as I said he noticed a problem wit a serious of BOMs viewing them from the module Production Control > production order screen.

when reversing some transactions to fix the bom.  approving the timecards he now gets this error. The worker ID is himself and there is more than one date involved but he can't get past this error.

I will get confirmation from him if he was using the warehouse app at all when he is available

Hi is confirmed no D365 APP was used.  This error message is coming from module Time and Attendance > review and approve> Approve

    regards

    Sandy

Hi Leah, thank you for your response... I am hoping that you can help me... as we are unable to close out the production order and ship.

not using an app for this,  screen shots were provided.

much appreciated if you have any insight into this for me?
