I have a business rule that executes correctly, but doesn't run in the iPad app. Are business rules support in the app?

Business rules should work in the CRM for Tablets application (regardless of platform) along side the web application. Have you tried an un-install/re-install? Or publishing another change and making sure the metadata gets downloaded and updated on the device?
Thank-you Jason, I had tried all that and the Business Rule does not execute. It works in the browser and in the Outlook add-in, but I can't seem to make it work in the app
Seems the problem is present in the Windows App as well.
One thing to make sure would be that every field used in the Business Rule is actually included in the entity form when viewed via the iPad client. I don't have practical experience with BRs on the tablet app, but I've frequently run into issues when a rule ceases to work due to a field having been removed from the form during the customization work of an environment. Based on how the BR feature is designed, you won't see any error message if a field required by the rule is not available on the form - the rule simply won't run.
