I want different stages in cases based on case type in Dynamics CRM

Hi,

I am creating cases in crm , i want case stages as when i select case type = "A" then it should take 3 stages like s1,s2,s3 and when i choose case type ="B" then it should take 5 stages as s1,s2,s3,s4,s5.

please assist me regards this.

    Hi, you could add branches in your business process flow based on your case type, as explained here:

    technet.microsoft.com/.../dn887193.aspx

    Or you could create two different processes and change the process via javascript (which you could register on load and on change of the case type field):

    msdn.microsoft.com/.../dn817874.aspx

    you gave me one of the good solution's its working for a level but in more complex solution its not easy to work with ,

    so i found one more solution for this ,

    We can call action in workflow to attach different business process flow in different case type.

    its easy to maintain as compare to custom javascript.
