Hi,
I have created a plugin which will trigger on Retrieve Multiple of Case records.
Here, basic requirement is to filter the account related cases in Case Associated View on Account Entity as shown in below screenshot:
The Plugin Trigger When Include option changes to "This Record Only" but when include option changes to "Related Regarding Records" then the plugin does not execute.

Writing plugin on retrieve multiple is not a good idea it will trigger your plugin every retrieve operation.Try to change condition condition of associate view that might.
