Quantity on X/Z report

ReportReport

Hi all.

I would like to add a column to our x and z reports, in the dept sales section that will display the quantity of those items sold.     however, i'm not sure how to add it to the xml report.

I did try adding a quantity column, by adding this " Report.Department.countsales " however the POS complains, "Can't find token"

Any suggestions?

This is not possible on the 40 column report/receipt.  That report is very limited on tokens.

To accomplish this, an addon that generates new tokens for the report/receipt would have to be created.

You can however run a detailed sales report and then (making sure the department column is the first column in the report) collapse all groups.    The button looks like a up arrow on the left and columns on the right.

the Report.Department token doesn't have that option.  You hsould be able to get this information from the Detailed Batch Sales Report .  This is a custom report that is available to download within microsoft website under the reports library.  I could email this to you if you want

How sad is this.    This "CustomerSource" is about worthless.    no knowledgebase, no responses to most questions put here.......  The links provided for additional newsgroups are broken.    And there is the fact that we HAVE to pay for this worthless level of support.   Unreal.   Is this place going to start looking like Symantec, where they have more dead software than live?

Come on MS, is this really the face that you want to present to the world?    "OK you can spend a million dollars on our software (hardware too), but you have to pay $100 an hour to get anything to work with your industry."
