Hi All,
I have entered comments on 'Sales Order' which are printing on standard report of 'Sales Order Bin Sequenced' but when I am printing word template for the same it is not printing there although the fields are available in word template.
Will be grateful if anyone of you could let me know what can be the cause for this?

OK - Love it when I have a "Eureka" moment - this was bugging me so I looked further. The Picking Ticket only has a page footer and not a report footer. I added the report footer in Report Writer and moved the comments into the Report Footer.
Saved the file, granted access to the modified report, created a modified Template for Picking Ticket Bin Sequenced based on the original. Dropped the xml and added my new one in. Removed the comment fields that were there and added the ones from the Report Footer to the exact same spot.
End result - they printed!
Give it a go and if it works, please let us know.
Hmm - this may be one you need to log through MS Support to get assistance with. I am out of ideas on this one sorry. If you do find a solution, it would be great if you can post it here for others to find.

Thank you so much for your detailed reply. I am facing this problem with original template for Picking Ticket. I also checked all three points (color, field length and bookmark) and they are fine but still neither original nor modified version is printing comments :(

Another thing to look at is whether the field is actually picking up correctly. If you turn on Design Mode when in the Word report design, all the fields should show with tags of the same colour (either Red or Blue - I think blue means they are all fine - but can't remember off the top of my head). If you have fields that are showing different, then pull them off the report and add them back in.
Another similar issue I had just last week is that the width of the field in Report Writer also matters. The Word Report picks up this width - so make sure all the comment fields and item description fields are quite wide in the Report Writer layout and then reimport the xml to your Word document.
It is also possible that somehow you have deleted bookmarks from the report which will also impact.
If you do not have Bookmarks enabled I would highly suggest doing this as they can be easily removed without you knowing it (deleting a row etc). To enable Bookmarks go to File | Options | Advanced | Scroll Down to Show Document Content | Check the box for Show bookmarks. This will print as a gray capital i. They will not print when you send them to a printer.
You would need to compare your modified version to the original version to see if all the bookmarks were still in place.

Hi Mahmoud,
The articles you have suggested are for displaying comment lines in addition to available four lines. Whereas I am unable to print the first four lines which are available in default template for 'Picking Ticket Bin Sequenced'.
Anyway, thanks for the post which I will utilize if need arise.
