Logging into GP Community using IE

I'm currently logged into my GP Community account using Firefox, but my preferred browser is IE.

I can't "sign in" using IE.  Anyone else having that problem?

Thanks.

RE: Logging into GP Community using IE

Just an update - I am still experiencing these issues on my one computer. Neither Sign in nor Join buttons work. The page simply refreshes when I click on them. I have since tried it on a couple of other computers, all successfully, so I know it's this particular computer, but I cannot think of anything else to try. What's interesting is that it is doing the same thing in different browsers on this same computer - I tested it in Chrome, as well. Anyone else find any workarounds?

    Jake,

I have tried all of that, to no avail. :-(

It works fine with my IE version (11.0.9600.17207). Try deleting your browsing history and cache. If that doesn't work, try the following:

    1. Open IE

    2. Go to Live.com

    3. Sign out

    4. Go back to communities and log in

    Thanks Soma,

I have tried everything, including deleting all cookies and temporary files in IE, deleting all files from my %temp% directory, restarting the computer, checking/comparing all IE versions and settings between computers where it works and the computer where it does not work (they are identical), signing out of the Microsoft Live account so it forces me to sign back in, and even emailing Microsoft for help.

Nothing has made a difference so far. I will try to be patient, but that's not typically part of my MO. :-) I will keep checking throughout the day.

Today morning I am also facing this issue on IE & Chrome. After some times these browsers allow me to login into community forum.

Have you closed and reopened the IE? and Try again?

This site has been updated on yesterday and still it is on under updating process. Better can you wait one or two days and will check again. If you will facing the same issue and let us know.

    Hope this helps!!!

Thanks, Victoria!  (or should I say "Johnny on the Spot?")

You always seem to be "right there" with a quick answer when needed!  I appreciate it!

Yes, but only on one computer (of course, my main one).

Earlier this morning, when I clicked on Sign in, it would just flicker and not do anything. Now I actually get an error saying "Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now. Please try again later." But I can sign into all other Microsoft sites with no problem, so it seems specific to the GP Community. Hopefully someone is looking into this.
