Business rules are inactive after importing managed solution

Hello,

We exported a solution in managed mode, and in this solution all business rules are in Active status. After importing the solution in production, the business rules are all in Inactive status! And we can't modify the status since it is a managed solution. Any ideas of the reason?

Hi

You can activate the business rules even if they are in a managed solution by doing an Advanced Find on Processes entity with criteria Category = Business Rule.

As for the Business Rules not being automatically activated, did you have a warning when you did your solution import (always good practice to download the log file after the import)? What I have experienced in the past is when a specific component fails or there are errors with it, it stops the activation of any components after that specific component.
