hi, is there any solution to manage the budget through the Payable Module

it seems that there is no option within GP, is there any 3rd part App which can manage this part

I love your forum name! I wish I were a superhuman:)

To prove how non-superhuman I am, I don't really understand what you mean by managing the budget through the payables module. We have encumbrances and purchase order commitment tracking - does this sound like anything that might fit the bill?

Hi Leslie, thanks for your comment :))

Encum. module is really doing a great job by covering all points if the transaction is happeneing through the PO window, but if the user will use payable transction entry window, there is no any kind of validation vs the budget, comparing with what happening in the PO window, so how can I control the transactions in payable trx entry window for not to exceed the budget...

what i mean is if the user enters an overbudget transaction system will not validate and the transaction will be posted and it will be an actual which is suppose to be blocked.

Did you get an answer to your question regarding other options for budget control if you're not creating a PO?
