Maybe you need to try to re-install the NAV client?

Hi, It looks like a client-side problem, you can try to repair it with the same version of the installation package.

    Hope this will help.

    Thanks.

    Hi wilson0194 ,

Please try to Uninstall the product and then delete the directory from C: Driver and install it again.

    Thanks.

    Hi.

we have the same problem since this morning with one of our customers with NAV2017. It seems that after a reboot the RTC is no longer running. We have the problem on multiple Client PCs. Same error in the EventLog. Reinstalling, repairing... did not work for us. Maybe it is an Windows Update or an Office Update.

Have you found a solution for the problem?

    Kind regards

    Thomas

We did an office repair and it seems to have cleared the problem.  I see more specific solutions about changing registry settings but the Office Update worked as well.

This is the more targeted fix.

Excel key is missing from Registry Editor. Just add it under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths.

I found a solution here: www.msdynamics.de/viewtopic.php. In our case the Office Repair Tool fixed the problem.

The targeted fix worked for me. I was able to resolve the issue by adding the Excel key to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths

and then setting the default key data value to the Excel.exe path.

    Thanks for the help.
