EDC setup with First Data Corp.

I am very new to this product (Dynamics RMS). Earlier I had Dynamics POS and it interfaced easily with First Data Corp for credit/debit/Gift card solution.

With that in mind, when I got the Dynamics RMS 2.0 product I believed it would work just as easily with First Data. Although I have not done the installation yet, my first glimpses through the installation notes gives me a feeling that RMS will not work with First Data Corp. Or will it?

Appreciate all the feedback I can get, and quick.

How do I setup EDC with First Data on RMS 1.3 or 2.0?

I would skip the use of outside products and await the open integration in 3.0.

RMS will work with First Data very easily, however it requires that your run a seperate credit card processing software, such as PC Charge or the Hypercom Payments SmartClient. There is no direct integration, however utilizing PC Charge in conjuntion with RMS is very easy.

Right now - RMS 2.0 will integrate with FirstData provided your acct is created on the T-SYS platform. It is a different config build than the standard, and you just need to ask for your merch info to be recoded to T-SYS.
