Vendor 1099 Information Report Wrong

Why is the data on the Vendor 1099 Information Report wrong, when compared to the actual data appearing on the 1099 Forms themselves?
 
For lack of a better phrase, that ain't right.
 
The Report is supposed to be a convenient means of advising what is going to appear on the 1099 Forms.
 
I just showed a client this Report and was embarrassed to see discrepancies.
 
I'd appreciate a good and lucid answer to my question.

    Just adding that this is US localization report.

    Not sure what it does, tried to generate it and for me it is always empty, but I'm not working in US so will lack the info to help. 

    But usually the solution would be to initially compare if the wrong data is just for specific Vendor or for all. If it is specific problem, then most likely something is wrong with data in the company for this Vendor. 
    If all Vendors have a problem, then most likely there is a bug in the report, and need to ask Your partner to add cumulative update version where this report bug is fixed.

    Please let us know which Version of BC (or NAV) You are using.
