Hi,

Im searching for a best practice on how to implementate the privacy statement on my forms.

Which field in Dynamics do you use for this purpose? or do you create a custom field?

Hope anyone will share his/her experience on this topic

    Hi   ,

as far as I know, there is no standard field which has a privacy statement opt in/out. What is there as a standard is the Consent level option set, but I don't think that's what you are looking for.

You would have to create a custom field and add it to your form as follows:

For ex: Privacy consent: Yes/no data type and provide a link to your privacy policy.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Marco,

You can set it in Settings > Email marketing > Landing pages.

    Here is the test result.

The style of the banner is inserted into the HTML and can be customized in HTML designer of the page.

    Thank you for this answer.

What i am looking for, is how and were can i see (in Dynamics 365 Marketing) that the person who submitted a form agreed with my privacy statement

I want to know if a person agreed (yes or no) and when (date and time) this person agreed

Are there standard fields for this feature or do i have to create custom fields??

    Best Marco

Hi Marco, I can only answer this from my perspective. Our system is configured in a way that any consent (data and/or marketing consent) is captured (mapped) to the contact in CRM. If someone opts in or out, it would be recorded there. This way you for example can create a segment in Marketing for anyone who opted out of Marketing consent and use this as a suppression segment for your journeys (for these contacts to be excluded from the journey). Not sure how much the consent section at the contact level is out of the box but I guess it is due to GDPR requirements. Hope this helps.
