Hello together,

hopefully one of you can help with the follwoing topic:

We are using the Customer Prepayment functionality for sales orders and there is an issue with the automatic transfer of the sales tax group and item sales tax group from the sales order/customer/item/sales category to the prepayment invoice.

When I create a sales order and then generate the prepayment invoice (after I created the prepayment proposal) the fields for the sales tax groups are both empty.

Is there an hidden configuration button or something else I forgot?

We have the requirement, that these fields a) are prefilled from the information from the sales order/customer/item/sales category and b) that they are not editable.

Hi Richard,

In FO, prepayment invoices are created from the prepayment proposal using a special prepayment item, so the sales tax group and item sales tax group are taken from that prepayment item.

That’s why they appear blank if the item isn’t configured.
I think there is no hidden parameters for this.

Hi,

unfortunately I agree with Raj, seems like standard behavior. Additionally, even setting the Item sales tax group on the Sales category does not default the Item sales tax group on the prepayment invoice:
