I believe the auditor just wants to know that the software does what it says it does. I was wondering if Microsoft has a validation system which i am sure they do, but some way to give us the customer proof of validation.
Can you elaborate on what you mean regarding software validation? If you are referring to internal validation that the software is meeting end user requirements... that would be specialized to whatever business type you are using SL for and would have to be done by your own IT department or have your partner come in and do that analysis for you.
