Lock down GST group

Is it possible to lock down the GST Prod. Posting Group to be fixed on GST-FREE? I want to ensure that when selecting a certain G/L account that a user can't change the GST setting from the drop-down menu. It does show as GST-FREE by default.

This should be a localized feature for India, and as far as I know this can only be customized.

user could choose another account for a prod posting group. I would suggest train users to avoid making incorrect account instead of locking down to one account. You could also create a workflow so approver could review before posting.

In Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, you cannot directly lock the GST Prod. However, you can use customization to achieve this.

I think you are using business central and not D365FO right?
