Change Store Logo In POS

I've looked and tried everything to change the "store logo" logo on receipts, and no matter what I do I still get the grey "store logo" picture on the receipts. How the heck do you customize this with your own logo?

    1. Start Store Operations Administrator.
    2. Click File, click Configuration, and then click the Register tab. Note the location of the store logo; you must save your store logo to that same location. The location is similar to:
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Retail Management System\Store Operations\Pictures
    3. Change the path in the Register tab to point to your store logo file.
    4. Start Store Operations Manager, click Database, click Registers, and then click Receipt Formats.
    5. Click the receipt that you want to add a logo to, and then click Properties. Change Show Header Logo or Show Footer Logo to True, and then click OK.
    6. When prompted, click Yes to update all transaction types.
    7. To test the new logo, click Properties. Make sure that you see the new logo. You can also test the new logo by printing a receipt in Store Operations POS. To do so, tender a transaction.

    Note If the new logo does not appear, make sure that the location in Administrator points to the Pictures folder that is the Store Operations folder, as described in step 2.

    If the store logo appears in the Journal Viewer correctly but does not print on the actual receipt, resize the logo. To do so, follow these steps:

    1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Accessories, and then click Paint.
    2. Open the logo file.
    3. Resize the logo to the approximate size that you want to print on the receipt.
    4. Save the file as a monochrome bitmap file. Doing so reduces the overall size of the logo file.

    Note The total file size must be no larger than 20 kilobytes (KB). Only monochrome bitmap file types will be printed on the receipt.

    After fighting with this for HOURS I tried putting the location of the file

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Retail Management System\Store Operations\Pictures\logo.jp  INSIDE QUOTATIONS and it FINALLY worked!
     
    So it becomes:
     
    "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Retail Management System\Store Operations\Pictures\logo.jp"
     
    Without the quotation marks surrounding the location it would just give me error codes & default to the microsoft computer icon.

    Any tips on increasing the size of the logo image.  No matter what size I change it to, it stays about half the size I desire, until it gets too large and doesn;t show up at all.

    We have stopped putting the receipt logo on through the POS and use Star Micronics printers that have logo/coupon software included.  You can use any image(s), no sizing, and they can be changed quickly.
