Requisition Worksheet | Lot-for-Lot Policy | Minimum Order Quantity not working

Posted on by 397 User Group Leader
Hi community,

I got a strange behavior (maybe I left something out) - following case:

-> it was tested in the standard BC environment (premium)

Planning parameters of the item:

Safety Stock = 10
Minimum Order Quantity = 100
Order Multiple = 10

The following step show the requisition worksheet:

Why does the system only provide 10 pieces? -> Minimum Order Quantity is 100.

Tell me if you need further infos. Thank you!
Tom

Ok, so I got the solution:

    • Safety Stock always generates a own line in the requisition worksheet - as we can see above.
    • Safety Stock is not a demand!
      • that means the calculate plan... function will not provide a new line with the minimum order quantity for the safety stock
It is necessary that a demand is simulated through a demand forecast or a real sales order, etc.
