We get the following error when we run the Synchronize All Ownership & Security in Database Maintenance. We are connecting using the sa account.
Permissions on server scoped catalog views or system stored procedures or extended stored procedures can be granted only when the current database is master.

I have the same question (0)Hello Bharathy,
I believe you opened up a support case to troubleshoot this issue and it was determined that the error could be ignored as the statement throwing the error was attempting to add the E7... user. As this user does not exist in SL 2011, the error could be ignored. Let me know if you have any questions.
