Query missing QueryBuildDataSource for FormDataSource InventTable.

I have added a custom field (supplier code) to the InventTable. This has been entered through all released products. As soon as I added it it would only populate for the first record. So I switched it to an inner join link type and I am now getting the error, "Query missing QueryBuildDataSource for FormDataSource InventTable."  This is on the Load Planning workbench.  I tried to add the datasource to the WHSLPFilterFales query, but still getting the same error.

When I look at the form I extended there isn't anything in the Data Source query... so how it it using a data source query?  It's all greyed out where I cannot edit this.

    Hi Keith,

Have you debugged the code and find out exactly at what line the error is throwing?

Refer to the below thread and see if it helps.

    Thanks,

    Girish S.

I didn't add any code. All I did was add the inventtable as a datasource. This has the field I need for gridcontrol on the form. As soon as I switched the linktype as an innerjoin to the salesline or whsinventtranssumdimsales it throws that error.

Yes, I understood. Add the debug point on the "init" method of the form and find out which line of code is throwing the error.

Same issue is discussed on the thread which I sent earlier.

    Thanks,

    Girish S.

Well I am not getting any error, but not sure why I am still only getting the code on the first line.

May be due to the inner join. Try changing the join type on the DataSource and check.

    Thanks,

    Girish S.

Unfortunately you didn't tell us what you did to resolve the error. I guess you're using a link instead of a join. With a link, the query of the linked data source is executed for the select parent record only.

I ended adding datasource(inventtable) to WHSLPWFILTERSALES query. And adding the relation on the itemid against the whsinventtranssumdim table.

That doesn't answer what join or link you're using to connect those data sources.
