Hello Krish
I doubt Microsoft will develop this feature but worth trying.
You might want to look at integrating D365 with a scheduling tool that might optimize the schedule for you.
Hi Alessandro,
Thanks for your prompt response. Looking for such enhanced features in d365fo soon. I have requested the same in Ideas portal too, Here is the link for the same. Request to consider the same by giving your valuable votes in below link:
Hello, it is not possible using D365 STD functionality. You will need to specify which route is the active one and indirectly which resource.
Even if you had to break down your concept of having multiple routes and use a consolidated one with an operation that requires a capability which can be covered by different machines , you will still need to specify what the priority would be ( assuming the faster has highter priority ).
Hi Krish,

Hi Hana,
Thanks for your response. I am looking this feature in D365fo.
I have multiple routes not multiple operations under same route, I am looking for a process of multiple routes with same finished good. So scheduling should happen as described below: can you suggest me how master planning schedules this ? If so can you share me that please ?
Hi Krish,
If more complex routing networks are enabled in the production control parameters, it is possible to define routings with multiple origins and operations that can run in parallel. It can be modeled using parallel operations, where one operation is designated as the primary operation and the others are designated as secondary operations.
